it's by an 80's (I think!!) Australian band called 'Regurgitator' - it's really short - but the chorus Darren sings as he comes into the theatre for his 'big night in'

The song was actually released 1997/1998 but its true that it was meant to sound 80's :) Its good and i think the actual song sounds very similar to Darren singing it

Well, I guess he chose the song to perform because ... ah well ... so many people used to moan about Darren's music and SG splitting, you get the point ;)

So again, this song/performance was some kind of tongue and cheek and also a bit to provoke people who have been blaming him for whatever.

I thought it fitted so very well - it made we laugh ;)
