So people have been able to buy tix today? They dont seem to be on sale nemore. Was it just a presale thing where u guys bought them?

I rang the box office and it appears that they were accidently released for a short period today. I was just about to purchase them and then they just went off sale.

They are due to go on sale on May 1 for anyone who has registered for the mailing list, otherwise they officially go on sale 5 May.

I'm very disappointed that this site has not kept us in the loop about anything and now some tix have been sold. But on congrats on the lucky people who were able to get them :)

Yeh i agree, it would have been good to hear something official from the fanclub or something about it. Also if there were gonna be any other shows other than Sydney. But well done to those who managed to swipe up some tix!

The flip side is that those of us who have bought them, did so either without knowing there would be fanclub tickets (ie me) or with the intention of buying fanclub tickets, but having these as a backup. So even if you haven't bought yours yet, don't worry because I have a feeling most of us will be willing to sell ours when the fanclub tickets are released.
But yeah, I've been frustrated by the lack of info too. I would have thought we would have heard about the concert first without having to find out about it from Video Hits.

I'd hate to miss out on this. I was a bit surprised that they were pre selling the tickets before we even got to purchase them via the fan club... but I'm going to take my chances and wait for the vip ones. *fingers crossed!*

Pre-sale was on for video hits members and the link to go to is:

You then need to register on the sydney opera house site before you can purchase tickets.

They are currently only up to row J on the stalls, so there are still good seats available.

I honestly don't think it's Darren, not wanting to come to Brisbane...for a concert...it's his home, it's where he's from after all. I wouldn't be surprised at all to learn that it was diffcult to find someone to back him in OZ...he'd said that much in the chat. Just be thankful he's touring at all...I live in Canada...and I can't travel to the UK or anywhere else and Darren hasn't been in Canada...not for even an interview never mind a concert since SG toured here back in the summer of 2000. I hope though that you will be able to go...you never know what could happen :)

I check the site most days and when I got up this morning (7AM Australian EST) I had an email from the website (sent at 2am Aus EST) and all it said was this....

"Sydney Tickets Member;s Pre-Sale! You can get access to the pre-sale of tickets as a special service for darrenhayes.com fan-club members by going to: http://www.darrenhayes.com/dh/index.php? tion=com_content&task=view&id=511&Itemid=253 And following the instructions "


It had no instructions - and never heard or seen anything about it before (except Darren's little tease earlier last month).

It's really a shame - cause even at 7.30 am this morning I missed out on the VIP tickets.

I feel a bit disapointed as my sister and I have waited forever for an Aussie concert and to find out too late is a shame.

On a brighter note... I was able to purchase two tickets in the C section of the Opera House, which isn't too bad - Now I just have to get there (2 hour drive plus 5 hours of flights), plus find accommodation AND a babysitter or organise my husband to get days off.... :) :)

I will give Tom Cruise a run for his money in MI: III :) :)
