Prince Charming

Prince Charming
on his white stallion
racing by
blinded by the light
passed me by
in my prom dress

My beautiful prom dress

I stand waiting for him to return
Should've known
Purple's not my colour
Especially those yellow dots

Where can I hide?

Prince Charming
won't come back
So I take the bus
to wonderland

Don't cry!

Prince Charming II
might have a thing
for yellow dots
I mumble as I fall asleep
driving towards wonderland
In my purple prom dress
tired of waiting
for Prince Charming
to come along

Then stay away!

A beating heart in a zone of war
beating hardly like never before
mixed visions occure at once
mixed visions that make the eyes sore

a fear of the unknown that's going to awake
to take all that's beautiful, to take what's fake
silently lurking in days to come
with dark strangers full of promises to make

give me hope, then give me some more
take me to safety to reach my shore
lead me, guide me, take my hand
send me to the home I'm searching for

what lies ahead is what lies here
it is the thing that most poeple fear
they avoid it to make it vanish
while they see it far, i see it near

dont observe the surface, dive in the core
take off the fantasy that u once wore
think, act and be someone!
be able to look behind closed doors

there r things to be done, no time to waste
dont hesitate, all u need is haste
get moving I tell u, before it's too late
actions instead of words have a rather sweet taste

in your safe tower, while darkness falls
you get devoured, as emptiness crawls
u wait hours and hours and start hitting the walls
until u loose ur power, and u loose it all

u look hardly for something to blame
will it be water?? or will it be falme??
that drown u, burn u or leave u alone
or will it be you cuz u have no aim??

to let all sorrows and fears come to end
to draw up a smile, to fulfill a dream

It's beautiful:) I never had the chance to say goodbye to mine,it all happened so quick and unexpectedly.She only gave a little eye contact when she was in pain,it was a silent,painful look.I had a feeling that somethings wrong.

Broken Heart


How do you mend a broken heart?
How do I stop crying before I start
He wanted to talk-I assumed the worse
He acted like our love was a curse
I looked straight at him
My mouth trembling with worry
We just met a month ago
What is the big hurry?
He said he wanted time to think
I let it sink in
Then my self esteem began to shrink
He turned away-left me cold
I imagined the new girl in his arms
It was her he would hold
I ran away
I never looked back
I sat a world away
Wondering what I did to upset him
But the answer wasn't there

Thought I'd ressurect this with my latest poem. Just a warning, though, it is pretty graphic and it's not exactly the nicest subjects.

Forced

Pushed down on the bed
He pins me.
Face down
Hands twisted up
Behind my back.

His breath on my neck,
Heavy, lustful.
He tells me I’m a whore,
His whore,
He venomously whispers
What it is that he wants.

My heart thuds in my chest,
I gasp for breath against the sheets.
His hand drifts up my skirt,
Fingers part my thighs
And force their way inside,
As I try to struggle free.

“You have no say in this,”
He growls,
“You will be mine.”
As he fights his way inside,
Forcing me to submit to his will.

this is a umm...daydream i had about one of my ex's *blush*
it may not make sense to other people but in my situation i can see what it means, unfortunetly it wont happen because she still lives at home and her father wont allow her to have another boyfriend till she is much older :(

I know the perspective in the first one isn't right but i was lying down while drawing and when i got up i saw how wrong it actually was :confused: , btw the firts one 's also a bit bigger (drew it on a paper size A3) but i can only scan A4 so there's a bit missing but u should get the idea of it

I'm new so hello and hugs to all.:)
Thought i'd post one of my stories, no harm meant to Darren or Daniel so don't hurt me. it's very disturbing but i needed to let my emotions out and so i wrote. okay i'm babbling here so i'll shut up and send the story.:)
He could hear his heart beat slowly in his ears, he could feel he blood pumping from his slit wrists, verything was blurred in a red haze. darren lay slumped against the living room wall, bloody wrists by his side, a pool of dark red began to surrond his already numb body. A bloody knife lay near him, its blade glinting in the dull light. Everything was silent apart from Darren's ragged breathes. he knew he had to eliminaye the emotional pain by conteracting it with the physical, but at the cost of others; especially Daniel's. The thought of him made darren regret what he had done, but his wife was the problem and the fact that he loved Daniel made it worse.
A new wave of dizziness hiy him, he could feel himself slipping closer to oblivion. An escape to another, better world. Just a few more minutes of this excruciating numbmess in his boduy and everything would be fine.
Suddenly there was frantic punds on the door and choked sobbs.
"Darren! Darren open the door please don't do this!"
F*** it was daniel, wyed he come, why now of all times.
When Darren didn't reply the pounding became more and more insistent, it sounded like Daniel was tearing the whole door down. Then it burst open, Daniel's bloodshot eyes roamed widly round the room.
"Darren!?" he called, before he noticed him slumped against the wall,lying in an ever increasing pool of blood, his eyes half closed, breathing very shallow and harsh.
"No! God no!" he screamed rushing to his side, tenderly holding him while the tears flowed freely.
Darren seemed so frail, by the loss of blood, like a lifeless doll as Daniel stroked hos hair.
"...Why...why are you here...Dan...?" Darren asked in a faint whisper trying to look at Daniel.
"To save you..." he whispered back through his tears "...to save you from this maddness."
"Please Daniel...leave me...a....alone." his voice was becoming frighteningly lower, and Daniel had to bite his lip to stop himself from screaming.
"It's alright the ambulance is on it's way." Daniel said taking his shirt of and tying it round his friend's wrists to stop the flow of blood.
"Am...ambulance? i don't want a..."
"Shh...you'll be fine just hang on"
2But how...?"
"I knew from the moment you left the bar early and finding your doors and windows locked, what was i supposed to think?"
"I've been a...a bad, bad man...Daniel...i don't deserve to live..." he was rapidly losing conciousness.
"Dar...?"
There was no response , his eyes were closed and he didn't seem to be breathing.
"Dar...Darren!" Daniel couldn't fight the fresh tears that fell as he clutched his best friend to his chest.

Death is Salvation

I sat in the darkness of my room, watching the clouds drift slowly across the moon as it bathes me in its eerie, white glow. Night after night I find myself hunched at the bottom of my bed, dressed only in my boxers, hypnotically staring at the moon. I’ve always had an infatuation with the moon, the way it casts shadows on the unsuspecting victims of the world, the way it catches your attention with its strange beauty and holds you in its penetrating gaze. Of course not even that small beauty is enough to stop my desire and passion for pain. Pain that I need so badly, that I’d do anything to cause it. Anything to block the emotional turmoil that I’m going through, that rips at my soul like a knife. So as a result of my crazed attempts at blocking my emotional pain I have scars running along my arms and upper torso, some are fresh and others date back a few months and all because of one person. The one person that I have ever truly loved and will ever love, the one person that can never be mine, unless I’m willing to admit how I feel and who I am. That would cause him too much pain, pain that he doesn’t need, pain that I’ve caused him, I could never put him through that, so time and time again I immerse myself in the cool, shiny surface of the blade, slowly biting into my skin, allowing the blood to seep from the wound and trickle down my arm in an endless flow of crimson fluid, or the sensation of the ember flames of a match or lighter slowly licking at my skin, scorching it red and black. Tonight is no different, as I slowly press the blade into my arm, I feel an overwhelming urge to stop this madness but I can’t so I press harder and deeper and after a few seconds, I’m rewarded with the familiar sensation and image of my blood pumping from the wound, it hurts like hell, but I watch with morbid fascination as my blood slowly drains from my body, dripping from my arm and staining the carpet a deep crimson. As I get lost in the physical pain I’m causing myself, my mind drifts away from the emotional pain and I feel it ease a little. Like any addiction, which is what it is, you need more each time, just that little bit extra to give you that high that you’re looking for, so as much as I’m in pain already I drive the blade deeper into the wound, clenching my teeth in agony as I fight the urge to cry out, the blood spurts from the wound soaking my boxers and staining my chest. I want to stop, but I can’t, some force within me takes over and I find myself burying the blade deeper and deeper into my arm, the blood’s flowing from it in one continuous stream creating a poll of crimson liquid round me. I abruptly drop the blade and scream out in pure agony as I slice my wrist and slump onto the floor, I can feel myself slipping in an out of consciousness, growing weaker by the second. As I lay on the floor, I see my life flash before me, in short, quick flashes, the world slowly turns red as I’m lost in a world of pain, deafened by my cries, and then nothing.

The Darken room feels frozen and hollow
as i lay here all alone.
With only the shadows

"Welcome Home"

I've been searching for so long,
Wandering aimlessly through the dark,
Trying to find a place to belong,
Trying to find somewhere to rest my heart.

Then you came along,
So unexpectedly,
Could this be where I belong?
Have I finally been set free?

Like an angel from out of the blue,
You took me in your arms,
And sailed away with me in a cotton-candy sky,
And I finally learned how to fly.

Hand-in-hand, we sail through the heavens,
Leaving the rest of the world behind,
Just you and I together,
Letting out love light shine.

Our light illuminates the star-filled sky,
As we continue to fly so high,
You wrap those beautiful wings of love around me and whisper:

wrote a quick story i think it was inspired by California by DH, but i'm not sure, anyway here ya go.
Dreaming of that day

The silence was deafening as I searched for the right words to say, the words that had been in my mind only moments ago, but now my mind was blank and my throat was dry. The clock ticked for what seemed an age, echoing in the still oppressive silence. I could feel the sweat trickling down my back, I could feel the dull thud of my heart hammering in my chest, I could see my hands shaking slightly with nerves, but still my mind remained blank. You sat across from me, your eyes burning holes in me as you awaited for an answer, an answer that would never come, your intense green gaze was clouded with worry, fear, anger, what, what had you so unnerved, was it me or the statement and question you just asked? I love you, I love you more than life itself and I can’t try and hide it anymore, hoping it’ll just disappear because it won’t and I need to know do you love me back? I couldn’t believe you’d actually confessed to that, you never were one for sharing your feelings with people, much less me but yet just five minutes ago, God only five minutes had passed, but yet it felt like an eternity, you’d just confessed your love to me and asked me did I feel the same. But that answer wouldn’t come ever, because I couldn’t find the words to say it, no matter how hard I tried I couldn’t tell you that I didn’t or thought I didn’t, I couldn’t put you through that pain. I closed my eyes as I felt a tear trickle down my cheek, silently coursing its way to the ground, but it never made it, for your thumb was on my cheek in an instant, caressing the crystal droplet away, pushing the others to follow until I was crying into your shoulder as your hand drew small circles on my back. This was the closest I’d ever gotten to you, the closest intimate moment we’d ever shared, how could I not love you but yet I couldn’t admit it, I think you somehow sensed this as my tears slowly subsided into choked hiccups. You released me, but kept your hands in mine, flooding me with the sense of safety and love. I smiled slightly at you, fresh tears threatening to fall, only to be erased when you hugged me and whispered softly in my ear “I love you and will always love you” Your breathe ghosting across my skin, I knew it could never be, I’d always find a way to rationalize my feelings and keep them hidden, but I could dream of that day when I’d tell you I loved you back and we’d finally be together forever.

i loved you more than life
i would have done anything for you
yet you crushed my heart benieth your feet
destroying the love we once knew.

unremorseful about what you did
i noticed the coldness in your eyes
they hid a void
a hell in which a burning soul dies.

leaping from heart to heart
conquering each onces love in turn
destroying the passion you create
you encourage the love to devour, then burn.

so heartless so cold
yet you call yourself a woman?
you are as a peirce of cold steel
forged into the form of a human.

OH! i was hoping there was a poetry thread here. I love to write. i have a whole bunch of songs on my myspace. or is it my space. idk. lol anyway, i started writing last year, when things started getting really bleeeh. it really describes all of sophomore year for me. I'm just glad it has a happy ending.

Darkness Has Set


Darkness has set in all around me.

Not over me.

I can still see perfectly.

Its everyone else who worries me.



Darkness has set in the inner circle.

It affected the core and started a cycle.

Now all I see is shadows of them all.

And I feel like relentless light casting them on the wall.



Darkness has set somewhere along the way.

The bleakness of the color black makes me happy I can pray.

Only their hearts can make the darkness go away,

But I know it was my responsibility to keep it at bay.



Darkness has set into my soul.

I fear I have failed in my saving role.

I only wanted to make them happy.

Now I can only cry and wish they had let me.



Darkness has set into my heart,

Their soulless remains only watch as it tears me apart.

I scream as I struggle to keep glowing bright.

I know I can stop it if only I fight.



Darkness has set. And lifted again.

The smiles on their faces the happiest they've ever been.

Never will I ever fail them again,

Reviving this old thread... as I've written something recently that I'm rather proud of.

The Siren And The Sailor

Deep into an endless night, you can hear the wailing cries of a siren.

Not cries filled with song, but ones full of sadness.

Tears full of pain stream down her pale cheeks - her long, flowing hair sticking to her face.

She had been held in captivity for years on an island in the middle of nowhere - held captive by her own self-hatred.

But it was on this night that she spotted an object on the horizon.

The unimaginable was occurring right before her eyes - a handsome sailor had taken heed to her bootless cries.

She dared not believe it. But it was indeed true.

She saw a faint figure coming closer and closer to her. She pretended not to notice.

It was a while before he reached her, but upon his arrival, he noticed her tears of sorrow flowing down her snow-white cheeks.

He put his hand to her chin and gazed longingly into her tear-stained eyes by gently lifting that chin.

"Cryeth not, fair maiden, for thou art the fairest of all creatures. And I wish to taketh thee away from this wretched place. Come with me and I will show you a world beyond your wildest dreams."

She took his hand and she held on for dear life.

She had no idea where this voyage would take her, but she somehow knew she would never be the same again.

Little did she know it, but blind faith had released her from her own captivity - only the shackles and chains remained.

A kind-hearted sailor with good intentions was the one who held the key.

He was the one who saved her from herself.

Here is one of my poems I wrote when my husband was staying in a small town while he was working & I was only seeing him 2 1/2 days a week. Now he just does the long 2 1/2 hr drive from here to there so he can see us a little more even though it is hard on the car.

Missing you
I am missing you
Missing your humor
Your warmth
Your laughter
Missing your touch
Your hugs
Your kisses
Missing your love
Your craziness
Your smile
Missing you beside me when I need someone to talk to
Making me laugh so hard that I can't breathe
